This is my eighth year to teach at Duncanville High School.  I chose teaching after a business career that included 8 1/2 years in Investor Relations, followed by Financial Consulting and General Contracting.  Along the way, I kept studying and learning.  Someone suggested that I would make a good teacher, so I taught GED students for 3 years and found my passion!

I love teaching business and marketing and helping students understand the world they will encounter for the rest of their lives.  It is a changing world that mirrors our society.

Last year, my students launched a school-based enterprise, The Panther Shop.  This year, the Panther Shop will be open during lunch to serve the school and the public.

I am also an advisor for DECA and sponsor NTHS.
