Welcome to Hyman Elementary! I am your brilliant child 2nd grade FAST teacher.
I was born in Memphis, TN and raised in Forrest City, Arkansas where I taught on a collegiate level for 4 years. I began working in the Mental Health field in 1998 and although I have been in education since 2007, this is my 1st year teaching fulltime in Special Education.
I graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and a minor in Sociology and Amridge University in Montgomery, Alabama where I obtained a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with Cum Laude Honors.
I am a very proud and active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated-Southwest Dallas County Alumnae Chapter (ΔΣΘ).
I have been residing in this great State of Texas since 2012.
I am a strong believer of any individual achieving higher education, as one does; this is truly something no one can take away from you…
