Ms. Erika Dillard, M. Ed.

This is my 12th year in education, and I am truly enjoying my role as School Counselor at Hardin Intermediate.  I began my career in education as a special education teacher for grades 9-12 at Texans Can Academy in Dallas.  I then transitioned to an elementary school teacher, grades 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in Dallas ISD.  My final teaching assignment was special education teacher at Ben Barber Career Tech Academy, grades 9-12, in Mansfield ISD.  Throughout my tenure in education, I have held several leadership positions, such as Department Chair, RTI Coordinator, and SBDM Chair.

I am a mother of four beautiful children, have one grandson, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.  As an avid reader from a young age, I continue to read at least two books per week.

I look forward to positively impacting the lives of all children to ensure their future success.
