Art Announcements

  • Welcome to 5th and 6th Grade Art!

    Dear Parents and Students,

We are fortunate to have an art program that encourages students to explore their talent and have fun while being creative.

Art is known to help students improve their problem solving skills, eye-hand coordination as well as expand their awareness about their world and culture. In addition, it is a great way to express themselves in a visual format.

    BEHAVIOR

To help students be successful in my room both academically and behaviorally, I have a system to reward students with good letters sent home when their behavior has been above and beyond the standard. When students are not meeting that standard, then I contact parents with that information and ask for help in this matter. Students love good letters sent home, so please encourage your student by sharing that you want to see good letters about them.

    PLEASE SEND WITH YOUR STUDENT

I also need some help with supplies. The school gives us lots of wonderful art supplies to work with, but there are a few things that make the semester better for the students. Would you please send the following with your student by August 21, 2018 (first nine weeks/semester students. Later date for other students)
