The stands at Duncanville High School’s Panther Stadium were filled with pride Friday as students cheered for their classmates at the district’s annual Field Day.
Students in fourth through sixth grades competed in various competitions including running events, long jump, softball toss and tug of war.
Brandenburg sixth grader Brooklyn Williams competed in a relay race with three of her classmates.
“My favorite part of Field Day is watching tug of war and meeting kids from other schools,” Brooklyn said.
PE coaches, principals and district administrators were all on hand to congratulate students as they raced across the finish line.
