The sprayer provides an extra tool, supplemental to custodial staff’s nightly deep cleaning and sanitizing, to keep our teachers, staff and students healthy and safe. The 1,200 misters are part are part of a comprehensive set of cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment the district provided our campuses and departments before the start of school.

Those supplies plus additional products purchased by the district include: 160,000 masks, 14,000 packages of disinfecting wipes, 2,400 bottles of hand sanitizer, 2,150 face shields, nearly 300 infrared thermometers, 150 touchless hand sanitizers for campuses and 80 touchless hand sanitizers for buses.
