 Adi Alsaid - Born and raised in Mexico City, he is the author of several young adult novels including Let's Get LostWe Didn't Ask For This, and North of Happy.  He's also the editor of Come On In: 15 stories of immigration and finding home.  His latest novel is The Bravest Warrior in Nefaria.

Adrianna Cuevas is a first-generation Cuban-American originally from Miami, Florida. After teaching Spanish and ESOL for sixteen years, she decided to pursue her passion for storytelling. She is the author of 5 books for middle grade readers.  Her latest book is Mari and the Curse of El Cocodrio.

 Anne Wynter is the Ezra Jack Keats Honor-winning author of Everybody in the Red Brick Building, illustrated by Oge Mora.  She is also the author of Nell Plants a Tree, illustrated by Daniel Miyares; as well as the board books One Big Day and Hands On!, both illustrated by Alea Marley.  Her latest book is Patrick and the Not So Perfect Party, available June 2024.

 Carmen Oliver is the author of the picture book series Bears Make the Best Buddies as well as the nonfiction picture book biography A Voice for the Spirit Bears: How One Boy Inspired Millions to Save a Rare Animal. Her latest book is Building an Orchestra of Hope: How Favio Chavez Taught Children to Make Music From Trash.

Carolyn Dee Flores wrote and illustrated her first book when she was in second grade. Now, many years later, she is also the author/illustrator of over 17 books for children, including the first rhyming picture book ever to be traditionally published in both Spanish and English in its initial printing - The Amazing Watercolor Fish. Other books include: The Wildest Runway;  A Surprise For Teresita; and Sing, Froggie, Sing.  She has a YouTube channel for kids and is currently working on a middle grade novel about her two 12th great grandmothers.

He is also one of the founding hosts of the blog "The Brown Bookshelf" – a blog designed to push awareness of the myriad of African American voices writing for young readers, with book reviews, author and illustrator interviews.  His latest book is Jerry Changed the Game! How Engineer Jerry Lawson Revolutionized Video Games Forever.

 Duncan Tonatiuhis an award-winning author-illustrator. He is both Mexican and American. His artwork is inspired by Pre-Columbian art, particularly that of the Mixtec codices. His aim is to create images and stories that honor the past, but that are relevant to people, especially children, nowadays.  His latest book is ¡Fiesta!: A Festival of Colors, available April 2024.

 Gordon C. James is the award-winning illustrator of Crown: Ode to a Fresh Cut, written by Derrick Barnes, for which Gordon received the Caldecott Honor, Coretta Scott King Honor and Ezra Jack Keats Honor awards, among others. Some of his other works include illustrations of Patricia McKissack’s Scraps of Time series.  His most recent book is Just Like Jesse Owens.
