Duncanville ISD: We engage, equip, and empower all scholars to achieve their unique potential.
The district serves four communities: the entire city of Duncanville and portions of Dallas, Cedar Hill, and DeSoto. The district currently educates more than 12,800 students at 18 campuses: nine elementary, three intermediate, three middle schools, one high school, and two alternative campuses.
Grade levels are divided into elementary, serving students in Pre-K through four; intermediate, serving grades five and six; middle school for students in grades seven and eight; and high school for students in ninth through twelfth grades.
Campus PTA meetings are held monthly at each campus, typically in the evening. Please inquire at your child’s school for specific meeting dates, times, and locations.
The Duncanville ISD Council PTA is made up of presidents over the campus PTA programs, campus principals, central office administrators, and PTA members who serve as Council Board members. This group also holds general monthly meetings.
Council PTA Board Meetings (Council Board members, local PTA Presidents) are held from 8:30-9:15 am and Council PTA General Meetings (Council Board, local PTA Presidents, Principals, another PTA representative, open to public) are held from 9:30-10:30 am. Dates for the 2012-2013 school year will be posted soon.
