Duncanville ISD libraries provide a variety of digital content for student use. Many of the district’s databases are part of a larger consortium called TexQuest. Parents may view the login information for all of the online library resources using this link. This document is password protected and may be accessed with student credentials. All library resources may also be accessed through Classlink using student credentials.
Beanstack - Beanstack is an app used to track independent reading time, and help build a culture of reading in school and at home. Beanstack makes it easier for kids to track reading, stay motivated to read, and develop positive reading habits. Beanstack is available to all students in the district.
Britannica School / Britannica Escolar / Britannica Moderna - Britannica School is an online library of hundreds of thousands of high-quality articles, videos and images created and maintained by Encyclopedia Britannica, Inc. Britannica has 4 levels:
EBSCO LearningExpress - EBSCO LearningExpress is an online platform for academic skill building, standardized test preparation, and career-oriented digital content. It includes test preparation for 3rd grade and up, as well as content to explore college and career options. Students may create their own accounts to keep track of their learning.
Ebsco Flipster - Flipster is a digital magazine subscription service that provides access to magazines. This is a high school subscription that may be accessed through Classlink using student credentials.
Gale - Gale is a research database of articles, images, audio clips, and other digital reference materials for a wide range of grade levels and content areas.
Learn360 - Learn360 is a multi-subject, easy-to-use K–12 media library (videos, interactives, articles, songs, games, images, and more).
PebbleGo - PebbleGo is a research database for K-2 learners. It contains images, articles, and educational games covering a wide range of topics.
ProQuest Sirs Discoverer - SIRS® Discoverer® is a multidisciplinary database specifically designed for upper elementary and middle school learners, researchers, and educators covering curriculum areas such as history, health, language arts, math, science, social studies, and technology.
TeachingBooks - TeachingBooks.net is an online database of thousands of multimedia resources you can use to explore children's and young adult books and their authors.
