State and Federal Programs

The State & Federal Programs Department is part of the Curriculum and Instruction Division. It oversees federal programs including Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV and Title I SIP. It also oversees state compensatory education, migrant services, and family engagement.

Intervention - Coordinator, Arianne Alexander
Ms. Alexander coordinates intervention initiatives that deliver timely, targeted support to help students succeed academically and socially. She collaborates with teachers and campus leaders to identify learning gaps, monitor progress, and implement individualized strategies that keep students on track.

Section 504 and At-Risk - Coordinator, Wanda Carter-Fields
Mrs. Carter-Fields plays a vital role in fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for students with Section 504 plans. She ensures students with disabilities receive essential support and equal access. The goal is to implement accommodations that enable them to thrive academically and participate fully in school activities. As the 504 Coordinator, she serves as a key resource for school and district leaders, teachers, assessment teams, and parents. She provides targeted assistance, engagement, and expert guidance regarding Section 504.
