Gifted & Talented Education (GATE) Program
The Duncanville Independent School District Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program is designed to meet the diverse and unique needs of the gifted population.
The GATE curriculum is designed to be a springboard to learning through interdisciplinary themes and higher-level thinking skills that will augment the TEKS to incorporate the four core areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. Gifted and Talented students are offered learning opportunities designed to enrich and stimulate thinking skills, maximize intellectual and artistic growth, promote creativity, and expand leadership abilities to prepare them for lifelong success.
