Facilities Usage and Rentals
The purpose of our facilities is to house high-quality learning experiences for Duncanville ISD students, and this use is prioritized over any others. However, when our facilities are vacant, Duncanville ISD permits organizations in our community the use of designated District facilities for educational, recreational, civic, or social activities when these non-school use activities do not conflict with school use or with board policy GKD(LOCAL).
To rent and use our facilities follow the steps listed below:
- Read the facility rental guidelines, facility fees, and policy.
- Prepare required documents
- Required Deposit
- Event Date(s)
- Insurance Policy
- Complete the Facility & Field Rental Request Form*
*Key Points Regarding Duncanville ISD Usage and Rentals
- Cafeteria and Auditorium reservations are available beginning the first Tuesday in September each school year.
- Duncanville ISD will be prioritized at all Duncanville's ISD facilities, and if on a campus, must be approved at the campus level first.
- Only authorized representatives of approved organizations, that are in good standing, will be granted access to reserve facilities.
- Deposits are required at the time of the reservation, for schedules B & C. The remaining balance is due prior to the event date.
- Please review the payment details prior to requesting a reservation. Once an event has been approved, cancellation fees will be charged for canceled events.
- Rentals are for "space only" and do not include equipment such as microphones, projectors, technology, PA sound systems, or other items. Exception: Auditorium rentals, limited equipment and personnel can be provided for an additional fee.
- All rentals are approved at both the campus and district level. Any campus conflict may cause a reservation request to be denied, even if the space appears to be available on the calendar.
- Duncanville ISD employees must utilize the reservation process for any non-ISD organization rentals.
