Elementary Music

We are proud to have an excellent general music program at each elementary and intermediate campus here in Duncanville ISD. We have nine elementary campuses that provide a rich music program for all Pre-K through 4th-grade students. We also have three intermediate campuses that offer choir and general music curriculum to all 5th and 6th-grade students. The Quaver Music Curriculum one of the primary tools used to teach the Pre-K - 6th grade Music TEKS for the State of Texas. Our goal is to help our students develop a love and basic understanding of a variety musical styles and concepts. We also strive to teach them the knowledge and skills they will need to help them be successful and a valuable participant in the secondary music program in Duncanville ISD. 

PTO and other community performances provide our students opportunities to perform for their parents, the community and to introduce them into the world of performance. Many of out 4th - 6th grade students get the opportunity to perform in Duncanville ISD All-City Choir.
