Greetings,
As we head into one of the busiest seasons of the year, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work you all do. The energy, creativity, and dedication you pour into your classrooms and performances inspire not only our students but everyone who has the privilege to witness your artistry.
This is the time of year when calendars fill up with rehearsals, performances, exhibitions, and end-of-semester preparations. I encourage you to pace yourselves and embrace the joy found in every step of this journey. Remember to celebrate the small victories along the way—whether it’s a student mastering a challenging piece, a breathtaking art display, or the applause of an audience who recognizes the effort behind every note, brushstroke, or line of dialogue.
It fills my heart to see and hear the work you create with our students. Your commitment transforms their lives, and I am honored to support and celebrate your achievements. Let’s finish this semester strong by lifting one another up—supporting your colleagues' performances and exhibitions whenever you can. Your presence in the audience, gallery, or theater speaks volumes about the collaborative spirit that makes our Fine Arts Department so exceptional.
Thank you for everything you do to make Duncanville ISD a district of distinction. Let’s finish the semester with pride, purpose, and the joy that comes from knowing you are making a difference every day.
With gratitude and admiration,
Paul Doucet
Director of Fine Arts
