Risk Management

Risk Management is a division of Duncanville ISD Human Resources, responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks that impact district operations and staff. The team works to protect district assets, ensure workplace safety, and promote the well-being of employees. Risk Management encompasses three core areas: the Workers’ Compensation Program, Property & Casualty Insurance, and the Safety, Wellness & Loss Control Program. Through proactive planning and responsive support, the department helps maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff.

Mission
The Risk Management mission is to provide professional risk management services to our customers by reducing risks through safe, efficient, and financially responsible programs.

Risk Management is comprised of three major components:
