Instructional Support Specialists

Our Instructional Support Specialists (ISS) assist classroom teachers through a developed coaching cycle.

Instructional coaching is a collaborative and personalized professional development approach aimed at improving teaching practices and student learning outcomes. It involves a skilled and experienced instructional coach working closely with teachers to support their growth, enhance their instructional strategies, and achieve specific goals. The coach observes classroom sessions, provides constructive feedback, and helps teachers reflect on their teaching methods. Through ongoing dialogue, goal setting, and tailored support, instructional coaching fosters continuous improvement, encourages experimentation, and empowers educators to implement effective and evidence-based teaching techniques. The ultimate goal is to enhance teacher effectiveness, student engagement, and overall academic achievement in schools and educational settings.
