Operations

Duncanville ISD’s Operations Department has the goal of providing quality and timely customer service to all stakeholders using the support and serve model.

The Operations department directs the ongoing operations for the Nutrition Services, Maintenance, Transportation and Warehouse departments to ensure timely and effective support to the campuses and departments of the Duncanville Independent School District, as outlined by the policies and directives of the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent.

Warehouse 
The Duncanville ISD Warehouse Department serves the district by receiving and delivering inventory, purchases and mail, asset inventory management, records management, and textbook inventory.

 
Transportation - Brad Hamrick, Director
Duncanville ISD's Transportation Department has over 100 employees who work tirelessly to provide safe, timely, and efficient bus transportation for eligible students.

 
Maintenance/Grounds/Custodial - Joe Peterka, Director
The Maintenance Department’s team, consisting of over 180 employees, is dedicated to keeping the physical structures and grounds of the district clean, functional and safe to serve the students, faculty, and staff of Duncanville ISD.

 
Nutrition Services - Tracey Marcum, DirectorThe 163 employees in the Duncanville ISD Nutrition Services Department are dedicated to enhancing students' academic performance while meeting or exceeding all state and federal government guidelines by serving safe, nutritious, quality meals while encouraging students to develop life-long skills and knowledge to make healthy food choices.
