School Leadership

Duncanville Independent School District is affectionately known as the City of Champions, has more than 11,900 students, and is home to the 5th largest high school in Texas, Duncanville High School. The 19 schools in the district have a diverse student body with 55% Hispanic, 40% African American, and 2% White.
 
Duncanville ISD serves students from age 3 through 12th grade. Duncanville High School is a comprehensive high school with an early college program, Duncanville Collegiate Academy. PACE High School serves at-risk students and students in need of alternative methods of learning. Summit Education Center is a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program campus focused on providing a structured learning environment and behavior modification programs for students removed from their home campus due to disciplinary issues such as fighting, substance abuse, or other violations of the student code of conduct.
 
There are nine elementary schools (PK – 4th grade), three intermediate schools (5th and 6th grade), and three middle schools (7th and 8th grade).
