Student Services & Campus Support
The Student Services and Campus Support Department facilitates a wide range of coordinated programs and interventions to support all students' health, well-being, and academic success. Our department is responsible for helping to support students and campuses with behavior management, attendance, health services, counseling and social-emotional learning, and student data management. Our goal is to expand social, emotional, and wellness support for students and families to overcome barriers to academic success.

Student Services - Director, Alicia Bradley
The Student Services Department systematically aligns initiatives, resources, services, and supports that promote student learning and well-being. Duncanville ISD's Student Services Department collaborates with students, parents, campuses, and community agencies to support the overall success of students in our district. Key supports include attendance/truancy, guardianship, special circumstances, Foster Care, McKinney-Vento services, Campus Behavior Coordinators, discipline, and drug prevention.

Data Management & PEIMS - Director, Melinda Turner
The Data Management team provides training and support to data clerks, counselors, registrars, and administrators on how to use the district’s Student Information System (SIS). The PEIMS department is responsible for managing student enrollment and registration, in-district transfers, and affidavits of residency.

Health Services - Director, Malelene Grant
School nursing is recognized as a specialized practice that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. School nurses promote health and safety, intervene with actual and potential health problems, provide case management services and actively collaborate with others to keep children healthy and ready to learn.

Counseling & SEL
The Counseling Department provides support to the district's 19 schools. Counselors sustain a comprehensive school counseling program that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth and challenges students to become independent thinkers and responsible citizens.
