A Parent & Community Liaison supports students, families, and educators within the school setting.

Liaisons connect the school, home, and community for individual students. Their purpose is to remove barriers that interfere with learning or school adjustment. They coordinate family, school, and community resources and work as part of a campus team to help students, parents, and staff create the most positive educational experience possible.

We have compiled a list of organizations that meet the unique needs of our student body. Resources include housing assistance, food banks, community programs, and more.

Our Parent & Community Liaison operates the Panther Pantry. Items in the pantry support families in need, and we welcome and appreciate donations.

Duncanville ISD is now in partnership with Trusted World! Trusted World is a nonprofit organization that provides the best resources, at no cost, to organizations and individuals working on someone else’s behalf. These resources include assistance with clothing for all ages as well as hygiene items.
