Foreign Exchange Student Program

Duncanville ISD welcomes foreign exchange students who meet our program requirements. This program provides students the opportunity to experience American education, culture, and history while improving their English fluency.

Program Information:

• Host families must reside within the Duncanville ISD attendance zone.
• Only students with a valid J-1 visa are eligible.
• Applications are accepted March 1 – July 15 each year.
• Enrollment is limited to five students per year on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Students must be enrolled in 10th or 11th grade and take at least 70% academic courses.
