The Department of Technology is responsible for planning, implementing, operating, monitoring, and maintaining the technology systems in the District. Housed in the technology building, or the IDEA Hub, this team of 21 is devoted to supporting teachers, staff, and students with their technological needs.

Technology integration is a critical component of the department. Technology can have the most significant impact when integrated into the curriculum to achieve clear, measurable educational objectives. When technology is used to apply higher-order thinking concepts, and teachers receive adequate professional development, students and teachers succeed.

The Technology Operations team ensures the district’s technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and equipped to support learning and work across all campuses. The goal is to provide efficient technical support, maintain robust systems, and power innovation through technology that meets the needs of students and staff.
