    STEM Enrichment Camps         

    Girlstart (STEM for Girls)

    Bilhartz Elementary School  (Grades 3-5 Girls) REGISTRATION CLOSED
    June 10 - June 14   8:30 AM Breakfast; 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Girls will participate in hands-on STEM activites, relevant technology, collaborative team building and informal camp fun. Space is limited to only 75 girls.

    Engineering For Kids- Full Day STEM Camp

    Kennemer Middle School (Grades 3-5 and 6-7; current Duncanville ISD students only) - REGISTRATION CLOSED
    June 17 - 20 and June 24 - 27 (Monday - Thursday) 8:00 AM-3:30 PM; 8:30 AM Breakfast and 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. Lunch
    Engineering for Kids brings science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to students in grades 3-5 and 6-7 by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning.  Space is limited to 75 students.

     Science Girls GT STEM Camp

    Girl Scouts STEM Site (out of district)  Grades 3-6            REGISTRATION CLOSED
    June 24 - June 27   Monday - Thursday; Breakfast 7:30 AM; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM  
    Students will explore careeres and activities in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) areas. The activities include cybersecurity, engineering, robotics, computer science, entrepreneurship and more. Camp is open to GATE students.

    Pipeline to Pathways - Summer Engineering Camp

    Cedar Valley College [out of district] Grades 9 - 12 
    July 8 - 19 (Monday - Friday) 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    This camp is an opportunity for Early College High School/Dual Credit/Collegiate Academy students. They have the opportunity to attend a two-week STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Boot Camp focused on preparing them for the path to a successful STEM education.     GEMS Camp for Girls

    Duncanville High School (Grades 5-8) REGISTRATION CLOSED
    July 15 - 18   Monday - Thursday; Breakfast 7:30 AM; 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Students will learn skills for future STEM careers and foster valuable 21st century life skills, such as problem-solving, creativity and collaboration. The goal of the camp is to increase girls' participation in science, technology, engineering, and math studeies K-20 and to encoruage them to aspire to STEM careers.

    Physics Enrichment Camp 

    Design, Connect, Create Physics Camp

    Duncanville High School    (High School Girls)   
    June 3 - June 14   Breakfast 8:30 AM; 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Get a head start in physics - no pressure, just fun - with new friends like you. Ride a hover craft and make ice cream with liquid Nitrogen. Meet cool female scientists and engineers and visit a local high tech company. Explore highdemand, high-wage and exciting STEM careers. Learn to be creative so you can change the world! Open to any Duncanville HS girl who has taken or will take Pre AP Physics starting Fall 2018. Space is limited to 25 girls.

     C3 Camp- Career Connect Camp REGISTRATION CLOSED

    Duncanville High School  (Grades 5-8 Boys and Girls)
    June 3 - June 6    Breakfast 7:30 AM; 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM  
    C3 Camp is for all rising Duncanville ISD 5th through 8th grade girls and boys. Students will participate in learning opportunities in hands-on experiences in non-traditional gender specific occupations.

    Rising 10th and 11th graders are invited to learn the keys to college success and prep for the TSI.

    PSAT Boot Camp

    Duncanville High School Collegiate Academy   (Grades 7 - 11; current Duncanville ISD students only)
    June 20, June 27, July 11 and July 18 (Half-Day Camps on Thursdays)  Breakfast 7:30 AM; 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    Students will receive support in math and reading skills to improve their performance on the PSAT in October 2019.

    Math College Readiness Prep - Get the Best of the Test!

    July 30 and Aug. 1 (Tuesday and Thursday) 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM; and 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
    Get to know the Math TSI, learn tips for the test and play practice review games with a team of classmates that's sure to get you ready for the big exam.

    Explore Architectural Design REGISTRATION CLOSED

    Duncanville High School  (Grades 5-8)

    July 23 – July 25 | Morning and Afternoon
    The Architectural Design P-TECH invites rising 6-9th graders to participate in three days of exploration that will include site visits and an introduction to architectural design. Students will meet at the high school all three days, but will take field trips to work sites on July 24 and 25.
