Hello!

I am Miss Johnston, a 7th grade Math teacher at Byrd! This is my second year teaching at Byrd.

I grew up in Arlington and graduated in May 2018 from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor's degree in Mid-Level Math/Science Education. I come from a family of teachers, with my mom and sister previously teaching English and my brother currently a high school counselor. I love school and learning, and I cannot wait to experience this year with my new group of students! 

In my free time you can find me reading a Harry Potter book, eating, or playing with my nieces Eloise and Kate.

I am available for parent conferences during my fifth period (1:40-2:30) and can always be reached by phone or email.
