Let me begin by saying how much I miss OUR students. We are concerned for our students’ health and well-being, and their families, and as we move forward in this new process, we want to ensure you we are here to support your children.
I would like to thank everyone for your kindness and support, especially our health professionals, truck drivers, grocery store employees, first responders, and everyone else. We are in this together.
Throughout this time of uncertainty, it is my goal to be here as a resource for you and your child. I will send out weekly communications through Remind.
Beginning March 30, 2020, I will provide lessons on google classroom to reinforce the concepts we have learned this year to ensure we prepare your child for the next year.
Our district has worked diligently over the past week to put together resources and activities to support student success. They have created a website to guide you in working with your child. The website is available at the following link: https://sites.google.com/duncanvilleisd.org/learning-at-home/home. I encourage you to use these resources and engage your child in daily learning activities between now and April 3rd.
If you are having trouble joining remind or google classroom as a parent or student. Send me an email or text with your name and email or phone number and I will add you.
If you have any concerns, please contact me. I understand that everyone will not have access to all the resources, but we will accommodate everyone to the best of our ability during this time.
