Friday, May 31st at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX - 734 Stadium Drive, Arlington Texas 76011

Graduation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and is scheduled to last 1.5 hours. Graduates arrive at 4:30 p.m.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. for family and friends.

Guests and families may enter through the Toyota Southwest Entry, TXU Energy North Entry, Comerica Northeast Entry or Seatgeek Southeast Entry entrance and do not need a ticket to enter Globe Life Field. General admission seating will be available on the Main Concourse level on a first come, first served basis.

Graduating seniors
Students will be provided one ticket. Students may pick up one ticket on Tuesday, May 21st, from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the Alexander Auditorium. Students must be present to receive a ticket. Students must also present a school ID to pick-up a ticket. If a student does not have an ID, students may pull up their information on Skyward.

Guests
Families and other guests do not need a ticket to enter Globe Life Field. It is strongly encouraged to limit the number of guests to 15 per graduate. General admission seating will be available on the Main Concourse level on a first come, first served basis. The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. so guests may enter the venue.

Livestream
Guests who are not able to attend the ceremony in person may watch a livestream of the event. Check the district website and social media outlets for a link to the livestream closer to May 31st.

Students will pick up one ticket for graduation on Tuesday, May 21st, from 7:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. in the Alexander Auditorium

Here are some highlights:

• Pictures, emblems, or writings on clothing that are lewd, offensive, vulgar or obscene, or that depict or advertise tobacco products, cult or gang-related, alcoholic beverages of any kind, drugs, or any other controlled substances, are prohibited.

• Suitable footwear shall be worn at all times. All footwear are soled and closed toe. Flip Flops, shower shoes, beach thongs, etc., heelys, heels higher than 2 inches, spiked heels and house shoes are not acceptable.

• Sagging of pants or any similar associated style is not allowed.

• Dresses, skirts, and jumpers are allowed, but may not be shorter than the bend of the knee and must be hemmed.

• All shirts/blouses must cover cleavage, the entire back, and midriff.

Shoes on the Field
Graduates are not allowed to wear pointy high-heeled shoes so as to protect the new baseball field and the student. Pointy heels will sink into the dirt field and get stuck. Wedged heels and non slippery shoes are encouraged.

Students, staff and families are encouraged to continue taking safety precautions to mitigate the spread of germs. That includes frequently washing hands and using hand sanitizer. Safety measures protect us all from a variety of illnesses, including the spread of COVID-19. Duncanville High School will not provide masks to students.

Yes, the following items and activities are prohibited during your Globe Life Field visit. Please note: failure to follow these guidelines may result in ejection from the ballpark. 

• Advertising, selling or promoting any product (including, but not limited to, food and beverage items) 
• Clothing with offensive or profane language 
• Disorderly conduct 
• Food and drinks, with the exception of a clear, sealed bottle of water 
• Laser pointers 
• Littering 
• Noisemakers 
• Use of drones 
• Glitter, Balloons, Confetti, Streamers 
• Weapons of any kind, even if properly permitted or registered 
• Any item deemed inappropriate for this event by Globe Life Field staff 
• Alcohol 
• Smoke Bombs 
• Large Umbrellas 
• Fireworks 
• GoPro Devices 
• Tripods, Selfie Sticks, and Monopods 
• Hard Coolers 
• Seat Cushions 
• Large Professional Audio or Video Recording Devices

  • knives, even if properly permitted or registered

• Any item deemed inappropriate for this event by Globe Life Field staff

All bags and purses must be soft sided and not exceed 16” x 16” x 8”. Backpacks are prohibited, except for single-compartment drawstring bags that do not exceed the MLB bag-size requirements of 16” x 16” x 8”. Exceptions are for those that are carried for medical reasons or manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children. All bags are subject to search before entering the ballpark. 

Duncanville ISD is a mask optional district. This means face coverings are not required. However, if you choose to wear one, you may do so.

Graduates, Families, and Guests
All graduates, and families will park in LOT R. Guests will park in LOTS C, V, W, and B. Guest and families will enter through the Toyota Southwest Entry, TXU Energy North Entry, Comerica Northeast Entry or Seatgeek Southeast Entry and access their seats on the Main Concourse. Handicap parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Parking is free.

Parking lots will open 4:00 pm.

Faculty
Duncanville ISD faculty and staff will park in LOT A and enter through the West Market Place entrance. Parking is free. Faculty and staff must present a parking pass to enter LOT A.

Doors open to families & guests at 4:30 p.m.

Doors open to graduates at 4:30 p.m.

Concessions stands will be open and available for purchase.

Aside from a clear, sealed bottle of water, outside food and drinks are not permitted.

Diplomas and transcripts will be available for curbside pickup on Thursday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  at Duncanville High School - main entrance (fishbowl). Please have your student ID or state issued ID available to present. Doors will be closed from 12pm - 1pm for lunch.

All graduates are required to return to their seat after receiving their diploma cover and remain at graduation for the duration of the ceremony. No graduates will be permitted to leave early. An announcer will dismiss graduates and guests by section. Please wait for the announcer to dismiss your section. After your section has dismissed, please exit the venue and head to your vehicle.
