Alexander Elementary School Gets New Principal: D'Ville's Braylon Linnear

Please help us welcome Braylon Linnear into his new position as principal at Alexander Elementary School. Linnear is no stranger to the district. This education veteran was an assistant principal at Duncanville High School for three years. Linnear has worked in the K-12 education field for 15 years. During his career, he's been a special education teacher, special education coordinator, football coach, and assistant principal throughout school districts in Texas.

Linnear holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Sam Houston State University. He's also earned a master's degree in educational leadership and special education.

"I am humbled and excited to be the new principal of Alexander Elementary," Linnear said. "I look forward to embracing our staff, students, and parents through collaborative relationships as we continue to pursue excellence and write success stories for all students."

Linnear will begin his new position on July 1.
