Brandenburg Intermediated gained a new principal, Tiffani Smith. Smith was already serving as the school's assistant principal, so she is right at home. Smith has faithfully served Duncanville Independent School District for 24 years, and she's worked in education for 25 years total.
Her career began in Duncanville as a teacher at Daniel Intermediate. After starting her career as a teacher, Smith ascended to becoming an assistant principal at two of Duncanville ISD's elementary schools, Alexander and Smith before coming to Brandenburg.
Smith earned a bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University and a master's degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. The new principal is excited about stepping into a role where she can support staff in a new way.
"I have served Brandenburg in my current position for several years, and I am overjoyed to support the community that I know and love as the new leader," she said. Congratulations, Ms. Smith!
