Hyman Elementary Student Represents Texas in National Art Event
Updated

Each year in March, student-designed flags from every state are proudly displayed at the National Art Education Association Conference as part of the prestigious NAEA Flag Ceremony. These flags, representing Youth Art Month, showcase the creativity and talent of young artists nationwide.

This year, Hyman Elementary is honored to have its entry selected for consideration as the face of Texas Youth Art Month. Fourth-grade student Aleyda Robledo created a stunning design that will compete for the opportunity to be transformed into the official Texas flag for the event.

Congratulations to Aleyda and her art teacher for this outstanding achievement representing Duncanville ISD’s dedication to the arts!
