Superintendent’s Report

Winter Break - 2021

Duncanville ISD Superintendent Dr. Marc Smith opened his report recognizing the Athletics Department for their hard work and throughout the school’s holiday breaks. With so many sought-after sports facilities and athletic teams that compete well into the playoffs, Athletics Department regularly works through school holiday breaks to support the teams and vendors renting our facilities.

Winter break begins next week and school district offices are scheduled to be closed from Dec. 20 through Jan. 4.

In preparation for the anticipated increase in COVID-19 cases, the district continues to host COVID-19 vaccination clinics. ON Friday, Nov. 19 more than 250 people received a first dose or booster vaccination at a clinic in the Duncanville High School west gym.
