Boys & Girls Track Athletes Qualify for State Meet

Congratulations to both the boys and girls track teams for their success at Regionals. The girls 4x200 meter relay finished first at the meet in Waco on Friday and qualified for State. The race was run by freshman Aaliyah Gipson, senior Laroncia Alexander, senior MaKhiya McDonald and sophomore Kennedy Brown.

The boys 4x100 team made up of Treveon Johnson, Elijah Keeton, Donte
Hamilton, Roderick Daniels Jr., and Pierre Goree placed third at Regionals and will also compete at the state meet which takes place May 8.
