The Duncanville Independent School District proudly congratulates one of its own students, Julian Perez, who emerged victorious at the prestigious 2023 Hood Master event, a showcase of top-tier talent in the collision repair industry.
The 2023 Hood Master event, held on September 22nd at the Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, exceeded all expectations with a full house of industry professionals. With participants from across the nation, it was a breathtaking display of craftsmanship and innovation, highlighting the very best in the industry.
Julian Perez, a senior in the Collision Repair and Refinishing program at Duncanville High School, secured 2nd place in a custom-painted bowling pin contest sponsored by the Collision Education Foundation. His creation was a stunning testament to his dedication, hard work, and artistic prowess. Julian's uniquely designed bowling pin will be showcased in Las Vegas throughout the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Conference, symbolizing the promising future of the collision repair industry.
The FinishMaster Team, the event's organizers, also had a surprise in store for Julian and other hardworking participants. They proudly announced Julian as a 2023 Hood Master Winner, earning him a well-deserved spot among the industry's best. The winners were presented with prizes generously provided by this year's Hood Master sponsors.
