Education Foundation Donation Funds New Chromebooks and Hotspots

Duncanville ISD students continue to benefit from a generous donation from the Duncanville ISD Education Foundation.The foundation gave the district $100,000 to purchase technology to be used by students learning from home during the pandemic.

In recent months, the district’s Technology Department used the donation to purchase and distribute 193 Chromebooks and 100 hotspots.

Since the pandemic began, Duncanville ISD has purchased more than $3 million in laptops and hotspots in an effort to make sure every household that needed a device and internet connection received one.
