Please help us congratulate Tamra Thompson on becoming principal at Kennemer Middle School. Thompson brings to Kennemer 27 years in education, serving 18 years in Duncanville ISD. She was a math teacher at Brandenburg Intermediate, instructional coach at Daniel Intermediate, interdisciplinary design coach, Assistant Principal at Hardin Intermediate, and Principal at Brandenburg Intermediate.
Prior to finding her home in D'ville, Thompson taught in Wilmer-Hutchins ISD.
Thompson holds a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas and a master's degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. The education veteran is excited to transition to her new role to impact a larger group of students and staff.
"The team at Kennemer has continued to show their passion for student growth. I am eager to support the mission of empowering all scholars to achieve their unique potential," Thompson said.
