Students at all Duncanville ISD campuses received Roll Call Rewards over the past two weeks as recognition for earning good attendance. By maintaining a school attendance of 90% or higher, students from Pre-K through 12th grade were presented with new school district backpacks.
For students who are high achievers and maintained an attendance of 95% or higher, their name will be included in a drawing to receive gift cards to local Duncanville businesses.
The Roll Call Reward program is possible thanks to the generosity of our community. Gift cards were donated by Roma’s Italian Bistro, Mudhook Bar & Kitchen and Jason’s Deli.
Student attendance has a significant impact on student achievement and progress, which is one of the reasons Duncanville ISD leaders encourage student attendance. Being in school also exposes students to valuable life skills. Remember that Attendance Matters!
