As your students are new to the district, you must enroll them by accessing the New Student Online Enrollment link available on the Duncanville ISD website at https://www.duncanvilleisd.org/parents/enrollment-process. After completing the online enrollment process, you'll need to visit the respective campuses where your students will attend and carry the following documents with you:

The following utility bills are accepted:

• A utility bill in the guardian's name must be current and no older than 30 days. Accepted utility bills include:  
  • Electricity 
  • Gas
  • Water
  • Internet
  • Phone (Landline)
• Student's Birth Certificate
• Parent/Guardian's State or Federal Identification Card
• Student's Immunizations
• Social Security Card, optional
• Prior School Records, optional

For enrollment purposes, your child would be considered a returning student for 2024-2025. Log into your Skyward Family access account to begin the registration process for a returning student.

Your children are considered “New Students”. Please complete the New Student Online Enrollment Process. In order to begin, use the Skyward Family Access New to District Enrollment link.

You will be able to enroll the new student using your existing “Skyward Family Access” login information. Click on “New to District Enrollment”.

The campus registrar will review your student’s enrollment application.  If additional information or documents are needed, the campus registrar will contact you.  If additional information or documents are not needed, you will receive an email indicating your student’s enrollment application has been reviewed and approved.

No. Duncanville ISD will be utilizing the online enrollment forms which must be completed by the parent/guardian and verified by campus personnel before the student may be officially enrolled. If you need assistance, contact your campus registrar, call the Student Services Department at 972-708-2000 or email studentservices@duncanvilleisd.org.

To attend first grade in Duncanville ISD, your child must:

• Be six years old on or before September 1,
• Have previously been enrolled in the first grade of another public school, or
• Have completed kindergarten from an accredited program.

If you would like for your student to attend a campus other than your zoned campus, please complete a transfer application via Student Services. Your student may be registered at their home campus in the interim. If the transfer is approved, the parent will receive a notification and the student's records will be reassigned to the approved campus.

If you did not upload documents during the initial enrollment process but have them now, please log back into Skyward to upload the required documents or contact the campus registrar.

If your student turns 4 on September 1, making them eligible for an Early Childhood Program (Pre-K), please visit the Early Childhood Enrollment page for detailed registration instructions.
