Business & Technology Program at Reed Middle School
The Business & Technology Program at Reed Middle School is for students that are interested in learning more about careers in Business & Technology. Students in the program will be cohorted through their CTE courses student experiences will be provided such as labs, field trips, competitions, related to Business & Technology college and careers. This program leads into the Business & Industry Pathway at Duncanville High School, and by participating in this program, students will be prepared for success in the high school program. Business & Technology Student Course Schedules:
Students will take the core classes (English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies) like all students on the campus. Students in the Business & Technology Program at Reed MS will take two CTE courses during their 7th-grade year and up to 2 CTE courses during their 8th-grade year. Please note: students in band or choir in grade 7 will only take one CTE course and students in band/choir and athletics in grade 8 will only take 1 CTE course. The CTE courses will be for students in the Choice Program only.

Students will have the opportunity to earn high school credit while in middle school. Students will also have the opportunity to compete at the local, state, and national level in CTE clubs.
