Message from the Superintendent – New #WeAreDville campaign to uplift our community

Duncanville ISD family,

You may have seen the hashtag #WeAreDville on recent social media posts from district leaders and district accounts. The hashtag is meant to unify and uplift our district family as we navigate this new normal for educating students. We will be launching this new social media campaign today to bring our families, teachers and staff together, and we encourage everyone to join us in sharing their new normal.

Whether it’s students learning at home, frontline staff serving food, officers providing security or teachers working in a makeshift home office space, we want to see it! Share your #WeAreDville moments on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from campus accounts and even your personal accounts if you choose.

We understand that our regular routine has been compromised and we’re having to quickly adapt to a virtual learning environment. This can be a stressful time for parents, students, teachers and more. Let’s remain positive and show the good moments during adversity.

Sincerely,
Marc Smith
Superintendent of Schools
Duncanville ISD
