Endorsement Night for Middle School Students

Parents of eighth grade students are encouraged to attend an event at their student’s middle school campus to select personal graduation plans (PGP).

Beginning with the 2015-2016 school year, every incoming ninth grade student was required to choose an endorsement – an area of focused study – and must indicate that in writing. Middle school counselors are working with students to choose their endorsements and to create their graduation plans. Parents must sign the plan before students enter ninth grade.

In an effort to provide information to parents and student about graduation plans, all three middle schools will host Endorsement Night events for incoming freshmen and their parents. Middle school and DHS counselors will be on site to answer questions and assist parents in signing the graduation plans.

Light snacks will be provided, along with a give-away.
